Young Women and Men's Aspirations and Resilience Research and Uptake Project

Qualitative and political-economy research designed to turn evidence about young people's aspirations and resilience into policy uptake.

Scope of work

  • Review of the qualitative data analysis report
  • Political economy analysis of policies, regulations, networks and key stakeholders to inform evidence-to-policy uptake work
  • A synthesis paper triangulating qualitative data findings with the quantitative data analysis
  • A desktop review of literature identifying relevant research gaps for the research project
  • Collaboration with the project director, co-director and wider project team to develop a project framework outlining the overall research approach
  • Contextualising research tools for Rwanda, drawing on the overall project's research tools

Contribution(s) of the Non-Profit Sector to the Rwandan Economy

A study on the non-profit sector's role in the Rwandan economy, with a specific focus on the creation of dignified and fulfilling work for young people in Rwanda.

Scope of work

  • Literature review on the contributions of the non-profit sector towards dignified employment for young Africans, with a special focus on Rwanda
  • Research design for the Rwanda study, developed jointly with the consortium on a universal research design
  • Data collection, including household surveys, interviews, focus groups and convening sessions
  • Data analysis
  • Reporting of results
  • Publication of products in line with the project's intervention planner
